We are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join our dynamic Financial Planning and Analysis Team within our Perth Support office. The role involves the development of financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making. The analyst will work closely with various departments to ensure financial goals are met and risks are managed efficiently.
THE POSITION
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and manage robust financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making. Continuously monitor financial performance against targets, analysing variances and identifying key drivers.
- Reporting & Insights: Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports and analyses to senior management, clearly communicating trends, risks, and opportunities. Ensure timely reporting of key financial and non-financial metrics to Group stakeholders.
- CRM Management: Oversee and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure data accuracy, support sales and marketing efforts, and provide actionable insights for customer engagement and retention strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations, supporting business planning and operational efficiency.
- Budgeting Support: Contribute to the annual budgeting process by reviewing and validating budget assumptions and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Overhead Accounting: Maintain accurate monthly accounts for overhead departments, identifying and recommending cost control measures to enhance efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and automation where possible.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal financial policies. Implement and monitor controls to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
THE PERSON
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance analyst role
- Bachelor’s degree plus professional qualification/postgraduate studies in Finance
- Advanced excel, reporting and analysis skills essential
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing and business partnering skills
- Exceptional written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems
- Tableau or Power BI experience preferable
