We’re currently seeking a 1st Year Boilermaker Apprentice to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with metal, thrives in a practical environment, and has a keen interest in the transport and trucking industry.
As an Apprentice Boilermaker, your focus will be supporting qualified tradespeople while you develop core skills in metal fabrication, welding, and repair. You’ll be involved in servicing transport equipment, assisting with custom fabrication projects, and learning how to safely and effectively use workshop tools and machinery—all while attending TAFE and progressing through your formal training.
The Opportunity:
- Work towards and complete a Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding) - actively participate in training programs, workshops and educational opportunities enhance technical skills, expand knowledge and progress towards becoming a qualified Boilermaker.
- Full-time Permanent Position | Monday to Friday 6am – 2pm, with opportunity to work Saturday.
- Support technician in performing fabrication, assembly, maintenance, and repair of metal structures and components, primarily using welding, cutting, and shaping techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisations along with adhering to safety procedures and guidelines.

- A willingness to undertake the formal training requirements of this role.
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic, an eagerness to learn and an interest in the transport/trucking industry
- Own basic tools and welding helmet are essential
- Reliable and punctual, with good communication skills
- Must be willing to work in a physically demanding Eager to learn, develop and grow in their trade, with long term employment prospects beyond your apprenticeship.
