YOUR NEXT ROLE
Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity! We are currently seeking internal and external expressions of interest for a Mechanical Fitter Apprentice.
The Apprentice Mechanical Fitter will develop skills and knowledge in their particular trade through completing on the job training and completing an approved course of formal training though a registered training provider such as TAFE.

A ‘be of service’ attitude and operating manner is shown in everything that you are involved in to support quality working relationships and deliverables.
Learn to safely and effectively diagnose and fault-find mechanical issues in a fast-paced production environment.
Learn to read and interpret technical drawings, and assist in building or repairing components under supervision.
Acquire working knowledge and effective understanding of the entire site operation.
Gain knowledge in preventative maintenance, scheduling, and workplace housekeeping.
Learn in an environment where production demands are a high priority.
ABOUT YOU:
Dedication to completing a Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Machining) and willingness to undertake structured training over 3-4 years.
Successful completion of Year 10 schooling (at a minimum) with a SA (Sound Achievement = C) or above in Math’s and English or equivalent skills in mathematics or mechanical tasks.
Willingness and flexibility to work varying shifts, including rotating shifts and attend external TAFE training as required.
Reliable, safety-conscious and a strong team player.
Ready to build a long-term career and contribute to a dynamic production team.
