The Opportunity:
Are you a recent graduate looking to kick-start your career in the Engineering sector? We have the role for you! Movie World is seeking an Apprentice mechanical Tradesperson who will participate in all on & off the job training to develop skills and perform duties associated with department requirements. This will be all whilst ensuring the successful completion of the assigned vocational training plan.
- Assist Tradesperson(s) with various rebuilds and repairs
- Assist Tradesperson(s) with inspection/repair on various plant and equipment
- Complete requisition sheets to ensure inventory levels are maintained
- Follow workshop procedures and maintain workplace in a clean and organized manner to ensure a safe working environment
- Successfully complete all learning modules within the required timeframe.
- Report any issues that may affect Engineering Workshop operations immediately to the Engineering Leading Hand
- Work effectively within a team environment to provide excellent guest service and to promote a positive working environment
- Ability to follow directions & communicate effectively
- Proven mechanical aptitude
- Current Manual Driver’s license an advantage
- Must be able to work at heights
- Completion of Year 10 Certificate
