Bermagui Country Club is sourcing applicants for an Apprentice Sports Turf Manager to work with our team in maintaining all outdoor facilities.
Based on the Far Southeast Coast of NSW, Bermagui Country Club has an 18 hole championship golf course, a synthetic bowling green and two synthetic tennis courts.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person who can work well within our friendly and hardworking team environment.
Duties include
· Maintenance and presentation of all outdoor areas
· Mowing surfaces; greens, tees, fairways, roughs
· Bunker maintenance
· Machinery operation
· Garden maintenance
· Fertilising
· Irrigation practices
· Follow safe workplace practices
· Attend TAFE in Canberra for Sports Turf Management studies
The position is a 4 year apprenticeship on a full time basis and there is a requirement for rostered weekend and overtime work throughout the year.
