The Role
Do you enjoy a dynamic environment working alongside a talented integrated workforce? We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Officer to work within the Business Management Unit.
The Business Intelligence Officer will provide comprehensive business support, including managing communications, supporting risk management activities, facilitating audits, meeting and training co-ordination, drafting executive-level documents, and serving as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all business management matters impacting the Systems Program Office (SPO).
Duties include:
- Contributing policy development to support innovation and business improvement.
- Applying knowledge of relevant legislation and Defence procedures.
- Developing Bench Level Instructions.
- Reviewing SPO web presence and developing stakeholder engagement.
- Implementing induction and off-boarding actions.
About our Team
Space Systems Branch acquires and sustains SATCOM systems, and is a trusted advisor of SATCOM systems for the Australian Defence Organisation. The team comprises professionals from various disciplines including project management, engineering, commercial, and logistics. This multi-disciplinary team is composed of highly skilled and motivated Australian Public Service, Australian Defence Force and contracted personnel. The team works from Brindabella Park offices in Canberra and maintains close collaboration with other parts of Defence and other Government Agencies.
Space Domain Awareness and Control Systems Program Office (SDACSPO) organisationally sits in the Space Systems Branch. The Systems Program Office manages Space Domain Awareness and Control in-service capabilities and capabilities in acquisition, engaging with local, regional and international partners and suppliers, to provide support to the Capability Manager. The Systems Program Office is based in Adelaide, SA, predominantly providing acquisition and sustainment support to capabilities at Harold E Holt Defence Precinct in Exmouth, WA.
