The Role
The Special Operations Program is responsible for capability delivery to Special Operations Command. The Program Management Office works alongside the Special Operations Program to coordinate and manage all aspects of Program governance, internal and external engagements and industry liaison. The Program Support Officer works within the Program Management Office to support Special Operations Program management and coordination. This includes the preparation of written artefacts, internal and external briefing packs, and the coordination of internal and external liaison. The Program Support Officer works to both the EL 1 Assistant Director and the Lieutenant Colonel Assistant Director.
Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Compilation of information for presentation to internal and external stakeholders
- Support to Program Management Office and Special Operations Program governance and assurance per the One Defence Capability System processes and procedures
- Coordinating function for standing meetings, working groups and boards
- Liaison with dependent Program Management Offices across Land and the Joint domain
