We are currently seeking applications for a Reporting Advisor, to join the Strategic Contracts Directorate, Commercial and Procurement, at The Department of Treasury & Finance, as an ongoing engagement.

Remuneration: ASO6 – Salary Range $98,478 p.a. to $104,165 p.a.

Commercial and Procurement Branch

The Commercial and Procurement Branch is the government’s lead advisor on commercial strategies, specialist procurement and strategic contracting.

In partnership with Departments, the Branch will lead the assessment and management of commercial projects, uplift the capability across government, implement and manager modern systems, oversee and support major projects, and lead strategic procurement.

About the opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Contracts, this role is responsible for enabling the Commercial and Procurement Branch to meet its reporting and compliance obligations.

About you

Working under general direction, you will be highly organised and proactive, with attention to detail and an ability to build strong relationships across the branch and with key external stakeholders.

To be successful you will have:

  • Basic level understanding procurement and contract management activities
  • Basic understanding of Public Authorities’ obligations under Treasurer’s Instruction 18
  • Extensive experience and skills in reporting and ICT systems
  • Familiarity with the Procurement Activity Reporting System (PARS) and Procurement Contract Management System (PCMS)
  • Experience in dealing with large amounts of data, cleansing data (where required) and filtering and / or presenting data.
