The Rural City of Wangaratta is on the lookout for an experienced Asset Planning Coordinator to take the lead in transforming how we plan, manage, and invest in our community’s infrastructure.
In this senior Band 8 position, you’ll head up our Asset Planning Unit—playing a pivotal role in driving strategic asset management and ensuring long-term sustainability across Council operations. You’ll be the engine behind robust capital works planning, reliable data systems, and compliance with key legislation.
This is more than just a coordination role—you’ll be a trusted leader and mentor, guiding a dedicated team within our Infrastructure Planning & Delivery department. From developing forward-thinking asset strategies to embedding smart decision-making frameworks, your work will directly influence the quality of life for residents and the long-term health of our city's assets.
