Full-time Assets Inspector

The local Council, Weddin Shire, is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to meet Council’s operational plan requirements to assist and further Council’s Assets register and carry out targeted inspections.

Primary purpose of the role is to ensure effective contributions to Council's Asset Management Program through inspection, recording data capture and oversight activity. Indicative grade is Grade 10 with a salary commencing at $32.73 per hour.
Conditions of employment:
- Allowances where appropriate (details with the position description) subject to the demonstration of qualifications, skills and competencies.
- Appointment to the position will be in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award and Council’s salary structure.
- A health assessment and National Police check if not already completed which meets pre-requisites for our positions.
A merit pool may be created through this recruitment process. Casual employees may be appointed from this merit pool.
