Your next big opportunity: Assistant Centre Manager for our Mandogalup and Wellard centre!
We are seeking an experienced educator ready to take the next step in their career and join our brand-new centre in Wellard and Mandogalup as an Assistant Centre Manager.
In this role, you will be:
- Collaborating with the Centre Manager to manage the daily operations and administrative tasks of the Centre.
- Taking responsibility for the development, implementation, and ongoing reflection of a high-quality program that aligns with our Service’s values and philosophy.
- Inspiring, mentoring, and guiding educators to ensure best practices and continuous professional development.
- Fostering a positive and empowering workplace culture that prioritizes exceptional care and educational outcomes.
- Supporting the team in programming and practice, working off the floor to provide guidance and assistance.
- Working within a Community of Practice alongside other Buttercups educational leaders to create and drive a curriculum that nurtures a love of learning in children.
- Overseeing the presentation of each room and outdoor environment, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming space that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for both children and families.
What you bring to the table:
- A Bachelor of Education or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
- Room Leader experience is essential, with Educational Leadership experience highly preferred.
- A deep understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, and Education and Care Regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to establish and nurture positive relationships with staff, children and families.
- Solid computer skills.
- Knowledge of CCS compliance and proficiency navigating CCS software. Experience with Xplor and OWNA is highly regarded.
- A current First Aid certificate, WWCC, and Police Clearance (or the ability to obtain at onboarding).
