About the Role:
As an AIN, you will work under the direction of Registered Nurses to provide person-centered care and support to individuals, helping them maintain their dignity, independence, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, and feeding
- Monitoring and reporting changes in patient/resident health
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Working collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare staff
What We’re Looking For:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent AIN qualification)
- Previous experience in aged care, disability, or acute care (preferred)
- A kind, patient, and empathetic nature
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Current police check, NDIS check and relevant clearances (or willingness to obtain)
- COVID-19 vaccination (as required by health regulations)
