This is an exciting opportunity for AINs to be part of our Palliative care team at Kalamunda Hospital.
Our AINs are included in the Team Nursing model to work alongside CNs, RNs and ENs, and will work to their full scope providing holistic nursing care including basic care needs, hourly rounding, inclusion in patient handover and safety huddles, engaging with Forget Me Not Volunteers, patient families and the Allied Health Team.

About the Job & How to Apply
As part of a multidisciplinary team our AINs deliver general patient care to patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, performing the primary function of an Assistant in Nursing as defined in WA Health Mandatory Policy (MP) – Assistants in Nursing Policy (MP 0080/18) and related AIN Duties statements for Nursing and Maternity settings.
You will be required to hold a Certificate III qualification in Health Services Assistance (Acute Care) for AIN (Non-Student) or AIN (Student) by providing evidence of current nursing and midwifery course qualification enrolment and minimum percentage of course completion, as stated in the WA Health Mandatory Policy.
