About the Position
We seek an experienced and passionate Assistant Retail Manager to help lead our team and work closely with the Retail and Pharmacist Managers. You will be a key support to the Retail Manager, ensuring efficient day-to-day running of the store, making sure that our customers receive outstanding service, and that Roma Pharmacy continues to thrive!
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Retail section of the Pharmacy, including training staff, scheduling and overseeing daily operations.
- Ensure customer's needs are met in a timely and efficient manner
- Manage inventory and ensure that products are well stocked and appropriately priced
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and profitability
- Collaborate with Pharmacist Manager to provide a seamless and integrated experience for customers
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for customers and staff
About You
If you have the drive and enthusiasm for achieving budget results through exceptional people management and leadership, as well as experience working in a dynamic retail environment, then this is the role for you.
Our ideal applicant will possess the following:
- Confident in leading a team in a fast-paced retail environment - preferred
- Previous experience working as Pharmacy Assistant- highly regarded
- Certificate III or IV in Community Pharmacy - highly regarded
- High competency levels using various computer applications, including operating POS system
- A clear understanding of staff rostering requirements and store budgets
- Solution-focused
- Strong interest in health and beauty
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
- Experience working with and achieving budgets and KPI's
- Excellent communication skills
- A desire to continually grow and develop your career within Retail Pharmacy
- A passion for retail, particularly beauty, health and wellbeing
- Ability to assist in any area of the Pharmacy, including orders, counter service, telephone service, dispensary and store merchandising
- Knowledge of Pharmacy operations and Retail best practices
