About the role

We’re looking for Associate Test Analyst professionals who are driven and passionate about Testing and Quality, who can perform design, preparation and execution of testing across an enterprise scale application landscape. A strong background in superannuation, insurance and financial services will be highly advantageous.
Location - Parramatta based | Part time permanent opportunity 3 days/week

Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
  • Analyse BRD requirement documents.
  • Raise appropriate query on any requirement clarification with Senior Test analyst.
  • Design test cases with the guidance of senior Tester, execute test cases and record test evidence.
  • Raise defect and define appropriate severity and priority for each defect and highlight risk/issues/blockers with Senior tester
  • Participate in walkthroughs of testing artefacts and map Requirements to test cases in test management
  • Follow test processes and standards defined as per Testing Practice
Experience & Personal Attributes
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a test role exposure through internships, coursework, or entry-level roles across various test phases including functional testing .
  • Basic understanding on SDLC and STLC (Testing lifecycle)
  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills to communicate with Project teams and broader technology teams
  • Practical and simple problem-solving approach.
  • Effective team player with collaborative skills and willingness to learn
