This is a12-month contract to cover a maternity leave. Reporting to the Head of Business to Consumer (B2C) Australia, as B2C Marketing Specialist, Travel, Australia, you will be responsible for coordinating the digital marketing programs to acquire and retain customers. You will work closely with agency partners to ensure that the programs are running effectively and in accordance with plan.
Your responsibilities will include to:
- Develop and deliver the plans for the acquisition and retention digital marketing programs (i.e. paid and organic search, display and email) to achieve overall B2C revenue goals and program objectives, which includes:
- Setting campaign goals and objectives
- Developing and executing test plans; analysing and interpreting the test data; and translating into actionable plans
- Writing creative briefs, including technical requirements and project schedules, to provide creative direction to digital media designers
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Legal/Compliance, Sales, UX) to ensure messaging accuracy and brand alignment.
- Partnering with media agencies for media planning, buying and campaign optimisation
- Monitoring, tracking and reporting program performance metrics to key stakeholder
- Analysing performance data and making recommendations for improved performance
- Develop and test new creative assets and executions to achieve program efficiency and optimization goals
- Be the digital media subject matter expert and remain current on the latest trends and best practices
- Research and evaluate new media opportunities
- Monitor competitor activity to ensure that Allianz Partners is well positioned in the market
- Manage 3rd party agency relationships to ensure that programs are running efficiently and according to plan
- Conduct periodic deep dive reviews of the programs and present findings to key stakeholders, such as SLT and Market Management. Work in cross-functional teams to accomplish common goals
- Ensure all marketing content is compliant with industry regulations and internal governance processes.
- May perform other duties, such as special projects or competitive analysis, as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Advertising, or related field
- Five (5) years of digital marketing experience with primary focus on acquisition and retention programs,
- Experience in insurance or financial services a plus
- Excellent organisational, project management and communication skills
- Creative, yet metrics and analytics driven – ability to translate analytical results into an action plan
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels
- Ability to prioritise work in order to meet deadlines
- Team player with strong cross-functional skills
- Self-motivated and result-oriented
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- An entrepreneurial spirit and interest in continuous learning, as well as, a passion for coming up with creative solutions
- Passionate about leveraging technology to power the customer experience.
- Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Fluent English
