Bolte Civil is a civil construction company based in Tuggerah on the Central Coast. We service the surrounding regions including Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, the Hunter Region and the Central Coast. We are currently seeking a full-time Backhoe Operator to join our growing team.
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, skilled and experienced Plant and Machinery Operator to join our dynamic team, as a Backhoe Operator. As a Plant Operator you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, operating the Backhoe Loader with precision and efficiency.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in a Backhoe Loader in the civil construction industry (essential)
- Valid Competency tickets for the Backhoe (essential)
- Solid understanding of WHS, environmental, and risk management regulations
- Safely operate plant and equipment, including carrying out routine maintenance and pre-operational check
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and any issues encountered
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow directions from supervisors
- Willingness to work extended hours as required
- Physically fit and self-disciplined, capable of performing a variety of associated labouring duties
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability on site
- Current Class C driver’s licence (essential)
- Valid White Card (WHS General Induction for Construction Work in NSW)
