We are seeking an experienced Baker to work full time at our Maleny Hot Bread Bakery at Maleny, QLD, 4552.
The position involves:
Producing square/restaurant loaves, bread rolls according to our standards with emphasis on Artisan Breads and Vietnamese Crispy Bread Rolls
Production of Pastries for Pies, Sausage rolls and Pasties
Assemble Pastries, Croissants, Danishes, Cakes, and Tarts
Whip Cream/Icing, mix Custards, and prepare diced apples and other fillings to our required standards.
Managing and ordering stock.
Ensuring cost management strategies are being followed to ensure high quality products are produced at all times.
Maintain at all times, a high level of hygiene and cleanliness to comply with OH&S Standards and council regulations.
Have the ability to change and follow instructions from the bakery production manager. Undergoing training with new equipment and updating technical skills.
The successful applicant will possess:
Minimum 3 years experience in the Baking Industry with strong evidence of using a wide range of Bakery equipment
Must have relevant qualifications
A passion for high quality bread, cakes and pastries with an interest to excel in the latest trends and innovations
Must be a clean worker, self-motivated, ability to work in a team or unsupervised
Have attention to detail with strong multi-tasking skills
Excellent problem solving and time management skills
Safe food handling skills and practices good hygiene

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
