About the role:
***Please note, the position is only 2 -4 days a week
We are looking for a junior member to join our team as a kitchen hand.
No commercial bakery experience is necessary, but experience in a commercial cookery environment is preferred.
You will be trained in folding of doughs, no previous experience is necessary in dough handling
Principal Responsibility:
General cleaning duties
Some pastry and bread shaping with training provided
Packing and slicing of bread products
Goods received and stock rotation
Possess a level of fitness enabling you to lift and work on your feet in accordance with OH & S guidelines.
A full commitment to food safety procedures and have good attention to detail.
Maintaining a clean working environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks
