Barista – Thursday to Sunday | West Beach
Join our passionate team at Skala Artisan Bakers in a vibrant coastal setting! We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Barista to join our West Beach store team Thursday through Sunday.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven barista experience in a fast-paced café or hospitality environment
- Passion for delivering exceptional coffee and outstanding customer service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Strong attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude
- Availability to work consistently from Thursday to Sunday
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso coffee and beverages
- Confident in dialling in and adjusting grinders throughout the day
- Strong understanding of espresso extraction and milk texturing
- Previous specialty coffee experience preferred
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Maintain a clean and well-presented work area
- Operate point-of-sale systems and manage cash handling
- Support general café operations, including restocking and cleaning
