Aster Coffee, all-day cafe, seeks passionate and dedicated waitstaff and baristas to join our dynamic team. As a casual hospitality professional, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our vibrant establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based drinks (including lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, etc.) with precision and consistency.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all equipment is in top condition.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and ensuring a positive experience.
- Take orders, process payments, and handle customer inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Support fellow team members with food preparation, cleaning, and general cafe duties.
- Ensure that coffee and beverages meet our high taste, presentation, and quality standardqualifications.
- Barista experience in a fast-paced cafe environment (experience in specialty coffee is a plus).
- Proven ability to consistently make high-quality coffee quickly.
- Excellent knowledge of coffee types, brewing techniques, and espresso machines.
- Ability to multitask effectively and stay organised in a busy environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience with POS systems and basic cash handling.
