Barista Duties
- sling delicious coffee and exceptional customer service
- Dial in and maintain grinders, PUQ Press, Ubermilk and 2024 La Marzocco Strada S espresso machine
- Ensure consistency, speed, and attention to detail in all beverage preparation
- maintain adequate stock control and ordering processes
Front of House Duties
- provide exceptional, warm and friendly customer service
- Operate the POS system (Square) for orders and payments
- Maintain clean, organised service and dining areas
- Run food and drinks to tables and assist with table clearing
- adhere to all procedures with an attention to working in a team for a common goal
General
- Follow café procedures for hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and FOH team members
- Restock and prepare service areas for opening and closing
- Support other duties as required to keep the café running smoothly
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 2 years barista experience in a high-volume setting
- Strong FOH service skills and ability to multitask under pressure
- Barista; Part-time/ Full-time (flexible); FOH; casual (flexible)
- Punctual, reliable and well-presented
- Team-focused with a positive, professional attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: $23.23 – $38.91 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
