If you’re commercially savvy, well-networked across the property and development sector, and experienced in preparing winning bids — we want to hear from you. As part of a passionate and knowledgeable Bids team, you will play an integral part in developing, managing and delivering visually appealing, strategic bids to achieve our ambitious targets. You will use sales leadership to develop compelling, winning strategies and persuasive stories in response to client needs.
This position reports to Managing Director and you will also have close interface with the Estimating Manager and team to ensure bid commercial aspects align. To ensure logical, consistent and effective bid submissions that meet internal governance, you will manage inputs from multiple stakeholders.

The Role:
Identify and pursue new project opportunities within the non-EBA space
Build relationships with developers, consultants, and property professionals
Develop and manage high-quality, competitive tenders and EOIs
Lead bid preparation, tender submissions, and proposal development
Work closely with estimating and project teams to present commercially competitive, buildable solutions
Maintain a strong understanding of market activity, competitor offerings, and future opportunities

5+ years’ experience in bid or business development within commercial or residential construction
A strong network across Melbourne’s development and construction landscape
Proven ability to secure new business and build lasting client relationships
In-depth understanding of the tender process for apartments and multi-residential builds
A proactive, self-starting mindset and polished communication skills
