With a proud history starting in Adelaide, today Fielders manufactures and markets steel building products across Australia. We deliver customer-inspired outcomes that support architects, engineers, builders, installers and property owners in creating their vision.
This is a dynamic and varied role that offers new challenges each day, with responsibilities spanning both customer service and warehouse operations. You’ll lead a small, diverse team and have the opportunity to demonstrate your strengths while growing your career with an iconic Australian company.
We’re looking for a self-driven, agile thinker with the ability to adapt quickly and effectively manage competing priorities.
This is a Monday to Friday role, working a 38-hour week within the trading hours of 7:00am to 4:00pm.
What Will You Do?
You will ensure that our customers expectations are met in a timely and efficient manner. To achieve this, you will supervise the team and provide hands-on support by:
- Ensuring efficient staffing to meet operational demands
- Attending to customers who visit the branch and addressing incoming inquiries
- Managing customer orders by interacting with internal stakeholders to ensure we can meet our customer’s expectations
- Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained to meet customer and operational demands
- Following up on quotations and inquiries to identify new sales opportunities
- Providing timely communication to customers and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring all processes are conducted safely by following the company’s safety practices
- Unloading incoming deliveries and loading customers’ vehicles in a safe manner.

In addition, you will have:
- experience in supervising a small team
- effective relationship management and influencing capability.
- strong customer focus with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- computer competency with ability to learn the companies ERP system.
- experience in a warehouse or stores environment with a current Forklift Ticket.
- a strong commitment to safety and the wellbeing and care for others
