We’re looking for a talented, passionate and results driven Brand Marketing Executive to join our small (but growing) team in Australia. You will support the team with social media, influencer marketing, PR, community building, marketing planning and brand activation within the market.
We would prefer to consider candidates who are based in Sydney or within commutable distance to Sydney.

Yoto’s Marketing & Creative Team
We’re a global team managing brand and product marketing, communications, and creative, with multi-disciplinary teams across key regions – the USA, UK, France, and now Australia. We collaborate closely with teams throughout the business, particularly in commercial, product, tech, and content.
The Australian marketing team is focused on increasing brand awareness through exciting partnerships,PR, social and influencer channels. We work closely with the commercial team to achieve strong, profitable growth.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in building and nurturing our community of Aussie families, fostering meaningful connections, and driving brand loyalty and advocacy through exciting and culturally relevant content, campaigns and partnerships.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build and execute our social media calendar for the AU market, with support from the global team, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, localised but aligned with the global strategy and incorporating key brand moments to increase reach through exciting, culturally relevant content.
- Develop and grow our online community of Aussie families, fostering a sense of belonging and encouraging active participation through interactive content, social listening, and responsive communication.
- Engage directly with influencers, creators, and tastemakers to manage paid partnerships, gifting opportunities and our affiliate programme closely supported by the global influencer team.
- Devise and execute community-driven campaigns & iniatives, encouraging user-generated content and brand advocacy.
- Support PR initiatives and work closely with the communications team and external partners to amplify the brand messaging and campaigns.
- Create and curate content that resonates with the Yoto community, reflecting our brand values and sparking meaningful interactions.
- Collaborate closely with creative and content teams to ensure all necessary marketing campaign content is produced for our channels - whether briefing imagery, commissioning content, or creating low-fi content yourself.
- Owner of AU campaign creative briefs, managing the process with the creative team to bring ideas to life.
- Work with the content team, publishers, and license holders to manage and execute communication around new content releases.
- Assist with the planning and execution of new product launches and brand campaigns in the AU market.
- Collaborate with the acquisition team to provide insights and assets to optimise ad performance.
- Support event organisation, attending and assisting in the coordination of consumer and community events, working with partners to bring the brand to life alongside marketing teams.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring spend is monitored and invoices are processed in a timely manner.
- Support weekly reporting on commercial performance, campaigns, and projects.
What you’ll bring:
- At least 2 years experience either brand or agency side in a similar role in the Australian market
- A self-starter, clear communicator and a fast learner
- A strategic and creative thinker
- Works well with cross-functional teams across different timezones and fosters a collaborative environment within the marketing team
- Able to quickly adapt to changing market conditions and company priorities
- Focused on achieving measurable outcomes and meeting ambitious targets
- Comfortable with the ambiguity of working in a fast paced scaleup environment
Salary: AU$75,000 - AU$85,000 based on experience
What you can expect from Yoto:
- Flexibility: Sydney based - hybrid working. Whilst we establish the Australian team this role will initially be remote however the longer term expectation will be office presence on average once a week
- Financial: 11.5% Superannuation, Group Life & Disability policy - AU$50k with Allianz
- Health & Wellness: Bronze cover (single) with Allianz
- Time Off: 25 days of holiday per year, plus bank holidays. On top of this, you also receive your birthday off, plus 1 extra day of holiday for every year worked after you hit your 2 year anniversary, up to 5 extra days. After 4 years of service, you are also eligible for our sabbatical policy offering up to 3 months' of unpaid sabbatical.
