About the opportunity
At Dayforce, we’re transforming how organisations manage and empower their people. As a global leader in Human Capital Management (HCM) technology, we help businesses unlock the full potential of their workforce. We’re growing fast, and looking for smart, driven individuals who want to grow with us.
We’re hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Australian Revenue Development Team. If you’re curious, ambitious, and ready to kick-start your career in a high-growth, high-impact environment, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
What you’ll get to do
Working within the Revenue Development Team, you’ll be the first point of contact between Dayforce and our future customers. Your work will directly fuel our sales pipeline and help enterprise organisations discover how Dayforce can transform the way they work.
Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:
• Reaching out to prospective clients via phone, email, LinkedIn and social channels to spark meaningful conversations.
• Generating high-quality sales qualified leads and booking meetings for our Account Executives.
• Partnering closely with 3–4 Sales Representatives to develop and execute outreach strategies for target accounts.
• Managing daily tasks including call outreach, follow-ups, email campaigns and diary scheduling.
• Continuously testing and refining your approach to improve engagement and results.
• Using tools like Salesforce and Outreach to track activity, manage your pipeline and streamline your workflow.
• Staying up to date on Dayforce solutions so you can confidently speak to the value we offer.
Skills and experience we value
• You’re driven, resilient, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• You’re confident reaching out to new people, engaging them in conversation, and understanding their needs.
• Your communication skills, written and verbal, are clear, professional and persuasive.
• You’re organised, self-motivated, and like working to targets.
• You’ve either completed a degree in Business or a related field, or you’ve got relevant work experience that shows you’re ready to learn and succeed.
• Previous experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) or sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach) is a plus – but not essential.
What would make you really stand out
• 2–4 years of phone-based prospecting experience in a B2B or B2C environment.
• Experience selling payroll, HRIS, or SaaS solutions is a strong advantage.
• You’ve previously engaged with HR leaders or C-level executives in a sales setting.
• You have a proven track record of booking meetings or hitting sales targets through outbound outreach
