IN A NUTSHELL
Our Data Analytics team plays a critical role in helping Bellroy make well-informed decisions, right when they’re needed. We turn complex data into practical insights that guide everything from product development and campaign performance to commercial planning and operational priorities.
As our Business Intelligence Analyst, you’ll take ownership of our BI platform, improve and manage its environment, enhance our reporting capabilities, build and maintain dashboards, and help teams access the information they need, when they need it. It’s a mix of hands-on reporting, BI governance and maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration, all aimed at turning data into meaningful, actionable insights.
You won’t be tucked away building dashboards no one reads. The reports you create will be used, trusted, and discussed by teams who genuinely care about what the data says. This is a business-facing, insight-driving, and capability-building role. It balances technical work (dashboards to refine, tools to improve), with creative problem-solving and a strong focus on helping others build their own data fluency.
You’ll join a team that’s passionate about helping the business work smarter, not just collecting data for data’s sake. There’s real demand across Bellroy for clearer insights and stronger reporting. Your work will make a visible and valuable difference.
YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU HAVE…
- 2–3 years’ experience in data visualisation, reporting or analytics
- Experience with BI tools (ideally Looker, but Tableau, Power BI or similar works too), and a strong interest to design user-friendly and insightful dashboards
- Solid spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets or Excel) and exposure to SQL (experience with BigQuery is a plus)
- A sharp eye and care for details. You spot vague labels, unclear terms, and make sure everything says what it means.
- A knack for structure and consistency. You enjoy keeping dashboards up to date, naming aligned, and systems easy to navigate.
- A curious, analytical approach and comfort working with large datasets
- Strong communication skills — you work well with both technical and non-technical folks
- A genuine desire to help others, through documentation, templates creation, training, and thoughtful support
IF YOU WERE HERE LAST WEEK, YOU MIGHT HAVE…
- Audited our BI platform and drafted a plan to make the environment more intuitive, consistent and organised
- Met with the members of our marketing team to understand the goals of the upcoming campaign and built a dashboard to track key metrics
- Reviewed and refined a suite of dashboards used across the business to monitor product performance
- Explored Looker release notes, tested new features, and rolled out improvements where useful
- Developed standardised reporting templates to streamline the creation of sales reports across the business
- Paired with another Analyst to help configure custom fields and recommend data visualisations for their Looker report
- Held a training session with our new Customer Support Director to help them self-serve using BI tools
- Explored data in our BigQuery tables and collaborated with a Data Engineer to locate or add fields needed for your report
