About the Role:
- Coordinate the collection of fees and charges, as resolved by Council, twice daily, once in the early morning and once in the late afternoon. Record payment as per Council procedures, reconcile monies received each day and deposit to Council Office once the sum held reaches $250 or on the last day of each month
- Undertake cleaning duties of the facilities at the Caravan Park/Camping Ground ensuring they are clean and tidy at all times. Report any damage or breakages in a timely manner to your supervisor
- Keep the information racks full with tourism information (available from the Visitor Information Centre)
- Facilitate the cleaning of public toilets as per the roster in conjunction with the Open Space and Recreation Team
- Contribute to the performance of Council: demonstrate professional conduct, make the best use of knowledge, experience and skills and be accountable for own decisions and actions
- Contribute to a safe workplace: comply with legislative and organisational requirements and be accountable for own decisions and actions
- Willingness to work at Nimmitabel, Bombala and Delegate
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in cash handling and balancing against receipts,
- Proven ability to operate and maintain equipment ie whipper snippers, mowers and pressure cleaners,
- Proven ability to work unsupervised,
- Commitment to manually lift in accordance with Work Health and Safety procedures; and
- Demonstrated experience in cleaning, servicing and maintenance of facilities.
- Current Class C drivers licence.
Desirable criteria:
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current Safe handling of chemicals certificate
