Our late teen client requires a female support worker in her 20’s to 40’sto assist with after school routine: unpacking her school bag, showering, and preparing for night routine with some activities.
Shifts: Mon and Thursday 3:15pm to 6:30/ 7pm.
Shifts will commence in the home and in time you will be required to pick up the client from her education facility and take her home to provide the above supports.
Our client has autism, is non-verbal, and lives in the family home in Caroline Springs. She is an easy going and friendly person who enjoys swimming, surfing, music, watching her favourite shows, engaging with people and socialising,
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have an open license and vehicle and experience in supporting people with autism and good nonverbal communication skills.
You must have or be willing to obtain asap:
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- 2 references from prior and/or current employers
Certificate III or IV in Disability Support desired but not essential!
