Busy Bees at Cannington is a 72-place service that welcomes you with a supportive, warm and welcoming environment with open-plan rooms, an interactive children’s kitchen, and a large natural outdoor area. Nestled away on a quiet street, our Cannington daycare is within walking distance to the Westfield Carousel shopping centre, close to parks and schools with team of multicultural and bilingual Educators — Hindi, Punjabi, Indonesian, Chinese, French and Arabic — love to share their languages and cultures with the children
Whether stepping in for short-notice shifts or covering planned leave, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every child feels supported and inspired to learn.
Your Impact as a Casual Educator
- Step into different rooms and support permanent staff with daily routines and transitions
- Deliver and assist with play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
- Bring enthusiasm and adaptability to each shift
What You’ll Bring
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
- Knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and teams
- Current WA WWCC Working with Children Check (Employee)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
