About the Role
Churches of Christ is seeking dedicated Aged Care Hospitality Assistants to support our Residential Aged Care facility. If you’re passionate about creating a clean, welcoming environment and enjoy working in a team that values compassion, respect, and community—this is the role for you.
You’ll play a vital role in maintaining the comfort and wellbeing of our residents through catering, and cleaning services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Flexibility to work in catering, cleaning, or both areas
- Willing to learn, take direction and understand the importance of infection prevention and control standards.
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Serving meals and setting up/cleaning dining areas
- Ensuring residential areas are clean, hygienic, and welcoming
You’ll work closely with a supportive team and contribute to a positive, respectful environment for residents and staff alike.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in catering, and cleaning (especially in aged care)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
- Possess a current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
