Together, Belgravia and MOVE - Moonee Valley City Council manages the premier lifestyle gym and indoor swimming pool in Ascot Vale. We cater to the health and leisure needs of the entire community, ensuring that everyone becomes happier and healthier.
About the Role:
Due to an internal promotion, we require a new hands-on manager to take full ownership of the operations and performance of AVLC. Lead from the front, motivate and empower a large, passionate team, with autonomy to deliver real change to the centre.
This role is about bringing strategic oversight and day-to-day leadership to ensure a thriving and engaging facility through the aquatics, health club, café, gym and allied health services.
About You:
A proven team leader who has managed and coached large teams in fast-paced, customer-focused environments, with guest experience at the core of your philosophy.
You possess a passion for delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships with stakeholders, while confidently managing the financial performance of the facility.

Key Skills:
- Experience in managing and operating a facility in leisure or service-related industry.
- Business and financial management skills
- Driving guest experience, sales & retention
- Passion for coaching, developing and mentoring staff
- Practical knowledge of operational management
- Understanding of OHS and public safety applications
- Energetic, innovative and inclusive leadership style
- Availability to work evenings and some weekends
Qualifications:
- National Police Check*
- Working with Children Check*
- Current CPR Certificate*
- Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2)*
