About the Position
Our Women’s Centre team assists in the provision of safe accommodation and support for women and children who are or have experienced family and domestic violence. The Centre provides services within the community to enhance education and to facilitate and expand healthy relationships.
Our Women’s Centre team are currently seeking a passionate Case Manager who is highly motivated and naturally customer focused individuals with strong interpersonal skills. The position needs someone who has genuine interest in providing support to our community. This position is available as a full-time, maximum-term contract until June 2026.
Key Responsibilities
The duties of the Women’s Centre Case Manager will include but are not limited to:
- Developing case management plans which are trauma informed and person centred that address the practical and emotional needs of our customers.
- Conducting the intake and induction process with new customers to ensure immediate risks are met, relevant documentation is completed (including Common Risk Assessment and Risk Management Framework) and customers are aware of their rights and responsibilities.
- Conducting safety audits for outreach customers, which include recommendations for security upgrades and/or other safety measures that would enhance the customers personal safety.
- Working in consultation with all customers to provide a range of information and support options to enable customers to make informed choices to enhance their safety and wellbeing, prevent homelessness, and increase self-determination and empowerment.
- Maintaining concise, accurate records of case management in accordance with relevant management practices and procedures.
- Participating in and facilitate community development and networking activities such as workshops, presentations, and education.
About You
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.
- A relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated competency in a similar position.
- Substantial experience working in a community services environment, preferably dealing with issues affecting women and children in crisis.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a case management model to achieve positive client outcomes and can demonstrate agile decision making.
- Knowledge of domestic and family violence issues affecting both women and children including those from culturally and linguistically diverse and Indigenous backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in culturally diverse environments and form positive working relationships with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

This is a maximum term full-time position is a Level 7 Inside Workforce Agreement position which attracts a salary from $96,731.43 gross per annum plus superannuation
To be eligible to work for us, you need to provide, or have ability obtain a:
- A copy of Australian driving licence
- National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months)
- Pre-Employment Medical and DAS clearance
- The right to work in Australia
