Your New Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager – Portfolio Planning, the Change Enablement Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring that changes within the Member Domain Portfolio are assessed, sized, and defined with precision and efficiency. This position is responsible for driving optimal solutions that support strategic outcomes and operational excellence.
The Change Enablement Lead will focus on several key areas, including overseeing Member Portfolio Planning and leading planning readiness activities such as requirements completion and solution concept development for initiatives. The role supports group efficiency and simplification by standardising operating models and practices, while also consulting and managing stakeholders to ensure collaboration and successful delivery of improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include conducting change assessments, scoring, and completing design phases, as well as preparing both periodic and ad-hoc reports for senior stakeholders and Executive Committees. The role also involves supporting the effective management of the Member Portfolio Change Process and identifying risks and issues, along with implementing mitigation strategies as part of planning readiness.
Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to lead change assessment and delivery requirements
- Work with teams to assess change impacts and risks, to prioritise against broader business objectives
- Develop and document High Level Solution Designs to enable change to progress through the change enablement process
- Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts. Proactively managing risks to ensure bottlenecks are minimised and mitigation options are in place.
- Provide a holistic approach to analyse and manage the portfolio's change impacts for stakeholders and leaders across the fund
- Identify, leverage and share relevant information with cross functional stakeholders to support the delivery of business plans
- Lead colleagues to embrace change through consulting and coaching of necessary behavioural and mindset changes, with a goal to achieve greater efficiency and simplicity in our ways of working
- Ensure relevant legislative and organisational requirements are met; keep up to date on all key changes to relevant regulations
What You’ll Need
- Strong experience in a comparable role
- Formal qualifications and training in the field Project Management/ Change Management/Business Analysis
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience
- Continuous improvement mindset, seeks perfection and has a true quality focus
- Understanding of operations, procedures and policies related to business area
- Excellent communicator, with strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills
- Solid critical thinking skills complemented with ability to identify & lead solutions
- Excellent analytical & reporting skills; ability to analyse data and tailor information to the needs of the audience
- A sound understanding of Agile and Lean Six Sigma methodologies
