Visual Merchandising - Event - Marketing - Displays - activations
Flexible Monday to Friday 3-5 days per week now, ramping up in late October to full time with some overtime.
For preparation of the 2025 Christmas season we are looking for team members to assist with the production of Christmas decorations & displays in our warehouse before moving into the Christmas season installation season. We are preparing decorations for our clients now as we ramp up to the busy Christmas season starting in November.
The Festive store is a professional Christmas company who operate in trade, event and corporate Christmas decorations across Melbourne. We encourage a diverse and respectful workforce.
We are seeking a confident,organised and visually orientated person, who can work independently, problem solve and communicate to all. Fit and healthy with stamina. Flexible mindset to cope with a change in focus or priorities, and to ensure the job gets done.
Skills: Key skills being sought are
- Love of Christmas, events & celebrations
- Basic craft and party decorating skills
- Stamina to get the job done fast and consistent, strength to stand on your feet
- Strength to carry Christmas tree boxes and help load trucks and vans for clients
- Good communication skills for understanding instructions within team for own safety
- Happy up ladders up to 2m
- Drivers license
- Experience in VM and displays desirable
Individual tasks include
- Decorating Christmas trees
- Decorating garlands and wreaths to a pattern and repeatable
- Packing decorations and Christmas trees into trucks and at client’s location
- Completing inductions for the Festive store, individual clients and councils
- Operating in a safe way to ensure the safety of yourself, team members, the client and public member, complete inductions and safety training as required.

Wages and Benefits
This role uses the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award [MA000080] for determination of wages and benefits. Trainees may also apply and assistance may be provided in alignment with relevant government schemes. Rates specified are exclusive of superannuation, overtime and public holiday rates and allowances which are added as per legislation.
