About Us
The Infrastructure Directorate is the City of Stirling’s largest and most diverse team, delivering vital services and projects that shape our vibrant community. Within this, our Parks and Sustainability team plays a key role in maintaining and improving our green spaces across the City’s 30 suburbs.
About the Role
We’re seeking a dedicated Clean-Up Mowing Operator to join our Parks Operations team. You’ll be responsible for mowing and maintaining turf across various reserves using out-front mowers and other turf maintenance equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate ride-on mowers, line trimmers, blowers, and edgers
- Complete daily turf mowing schedules
- Maintain equipment and report servicing needs
- Comply with traffic and site safety procedures
- Participate in toolbox meetings and promote safe work practices
- Support general parks maintenance and other duties as required
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in their work
- Has 1+ years of mowing experience with out-front ride-on mowers
- Holds a current MR class driver’s licence
- Understands and promotes occupational health and safety
- Has a valid National Police Clearance
- Is a team player with good communication skills

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, you’ll need:
- A valid Australian driver’s licence
- National Police Clearance (within the last 3 months)
- Pre-employment medical and DAS clearance
- The right to work in Australia
