About the role
The Australian Red Cross Wellbeing Centre is a distinctive accommodation centre providing a welcome home away from home for patients and their carers, who travel from some of the most remote parts of Far North/North Queensland to receive medical treatment.
In this role you will carry out cleaning duties in guest rooms, administration and public areas to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction during their stay.
What you will bring
- Experience in providing cleaning services within an accommodation centre/facility
- An understanding of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures, including manual handling, storage and use of chemicals
- Ability to prioritise tasks
- Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic
- Ability to work a flexible roster as required, including school and public holidays and possibly weekends

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award – Level 1 from $25.41 per hour.
