Job Opportunity: Commercial Herb Harvesting & Processing Specialist with a Passion for Outdoor Work
Are you someone who loves working with your hands, enjoys being outdoors, and has a passion for fresh, fragrant herbs? We’re looking for a dedicated team member to join us as a Commercial Herb Harvesting & Processing Specialist. This role is ideal for someone with a background in cooking or culinary arts who’s quick and precise with their hands and enjoys working both in the field and the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Propagating, potting and planting.
Maintaining plants including weeding, fertilising & spraying.
Commercial Harvest, sort, and process fresh herbs.
Prepare herbs for storage, drying, and packaging
Support in the kitchen with cleaning, organizing, and basic prep tasks
Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace in both the field and the kitchen
Create and post engaging social media content to showcase our fresh products and the harvesting process
What We’re Looking For:
A background in horticulture and/or food preparation (bonus if you’re a former chef!)
Quick, efficient hands and a high attention to detail
An appreciation for working outdoors and handling fresh herbs
A positive attitude towards cleaning and maintaining a tidy workspace
Interest or experience in creating social media content

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $25.21 – $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
