We are dedicated to powering the growth and productivity of businesses by making commercial fleet operations easy and hassle-free. We achieve this through an integrated ecosystem of fleet-focused solutions designed for today and tomorrow's challenges.
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to drive the Uptime Pillar of our ecosystem across our International Markets region. This pivotal role will initially focus on Australia, subsequently rolling out this critical strategy across other markets in Asia and Africa. You will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of our commercial vehicle fleets by monitoring fleet uptime, spearheading issue resolution processes, and developing comprehensive uptime strategies. A key aspect of your role will be to build fit-for-purpose processes and solutions specifically designed to reduce the time vehicles are off the road for our fleet customers.
Reporting directly to the IMG Commercial Business Director based in Thailand, you will partner heavily with our Australian-based FCSD (Ford Customer Service Division) and Fleet Sales teams. Together, you will define effective, solution-oriented processes to empower our service network. Your expertise will be vital in identifying and leading the implementation of key initiatives to significantly enhance fleet uptime, directly contributing to our customers' productivity and our continued success.
This role is based on a hybrid arrangement, requiring four (4) days per week in our National Sales Company (NSC) office located in Richmond.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Fleet Uptime & Issue Resolution: Monitor critical fleet uptime metrics and lead the dedicated issue resolution team. You will own the end-to-end resolution process, ensuring fleet challenges are addressed swiftly and efficiently to minimize vehicle downtime for our customers.
- Develop Strategic Uptime Initiatives: Conduct in-depth analysis of customer pain points, internal capabilities, and competitive landscapes to identify key threats and opportunities. You will be responsible for developing a robust fleet uptime strategy and identifying critical initiatives, leading the approval process including global prioritization and in-market alignment.
- Lead Implementation & Rollout: Develop comprehensive implementation plans for approved uptime solutions. This includes identifying and managing pilot programs, defining success metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for each solution.
About You
- Proven experience (minimum 5-7 years) in fleet management, commercial vehicle service operations, automotive aftermarket, or a related field with a strong focus on vehicle uptime, maintenance, and issue resolution.
- Demonstrated understanding of the unique needs and operational challenges of commercial fleet customers.
- Expertise in vehicle downtime prevention processes, industry best practices, and relevant business models.
- Track record of developing and implementing strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

- Ability to conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscapes, and internal capabilities to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a complex, multi-market environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, capable of effectively engaging with internal teams (FCSD, Fleet Sales), dealer networks, and external partners.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders across different markets and time zones.
- Superior analytical skills to monitor fleet uptime metrics, identify root causes of issues, and measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to issue resolution and continuous improvement.
