The Role
Are you passionate about creating vibrant, inclusive, and impactful events? Do you have the skills to drive health and wellness campaigns that truly connect with communities? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven Community & Event Lead to bring energy, innovation, and structure to our event offerings.
As the Community & Event Lead, you will lead the development and execution of a diverse range of events aligned with our Health and Wellness programs. From concept through to completion, your role will involve coordinating logistics, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring our key events—from NAIDOC to RUOK—are successful and meaningful.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver portfolio-wide marquee events aligned with health and wellness priorities.
- Collaborate with regional operations, wellness leads, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth execution.
- Develop standardized event processes for multiple sites and roadshow-style campaigns.
- Liaise with marketing to promote events internally and externally.
- Manage event logistics, from catering and transportation to setup and entertainment.
- Monitor budgets and maintain cost control throughout the event lifecycle.
- Prepare post-event summaries and performance reports.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience managing medium to large-scale events.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities across multiple venues.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Adaptability and problem-solving under pressure.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Understanding of remote site logistics and community dynamics is a plus.
- Formal event management training is desirable but not essential.
