We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Community Support Worker to support participants with mental health support needs, including Schizophrenia and Drug & Alcohol use.
Available Shifts
- Monday: 9:00am – 11:00am & 9:00am – 2:00pm (Separate clients)
- Tuesday: 8:30am – 12:00pm
- Thursday: 8:30am – 10:30am, 11:00am – 2:00pm & 8:30am – 1:30pm (Separate clients)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide behavioural and emotional support to participants with complex mental health needs
- Assist with daily living activities including domestic tasks and meal preparation
- Support community engagement: accompany participants to appointments and recreational activities
- Complete detailed documentation and incident reports
- Promote independence and assist participants in achieving their NDIS goals
About You
You are a resilient, reliable, and empathetic support worker who thrives on making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
You will have:
- Experience supporting individuals with Schizophrenia and/or substance use (highly regarded)
- Strong observation and behaviour pattern recognition skills
- Emotional maturity, professional boundaries, and sound judgement
- Willingness to work in homes with pets
- Current Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Basic computer skills and confidence with electronic documentation systems
Essential Requirements
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- NSW Police Check
- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence and access to own vehicle
