SASMAR is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Officer - Market Entry to join our dynamic team. With our headquarters based in Brussels, Belgium, and operations spanning across Sydney, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Malta, London, and Chicago, we are a rapidly growing pharmaceutical company specializing in personal care and fertility products, including our well-known Conceive Plus brand. Our products are distributed in over 70 countries through multiple channels, including supermarkets, clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and drugstores.
In your role as Compliance Officer - Market Entry, you will play a key role in guiding our company's entry into new markets while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. You will work closely with various teams to navigate the complexities of compliance, helping to establish SASMAR's products in new regions successfully.
Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze regulatory requirements in target markets for product registration and compliance.
- Develop and implement compliance strategies for market entry, ensuring adherence to local laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare and submit regulatory documentation and applications.
- Conduct thorough research on sector regulations, market conditions, and competitor analysis.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and update the team accordingly.
- Serve as a point of contact for regulatory authorities and maintain strong relationships with them.
- Provide training and support to internal teams regarding compliance obligations and best practices.
- Prepare and maintain compliance-related documentation and records.
- Assist in risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for market entry challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in a compliance role, ideally within the pharmaceutical or consumer goods industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and market entry processes in various regions.
- Exceptional analytical and research skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Google Office Suite.
- Fluency in additional languages would be beneficial.
