About the role

We are seeking expressions of interest for an energetic and performance-driven individual to join the Robe Valley Operational Excellence team as a Contractor Management Advisor.

In this role you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and support delivery of Rio Tinto Iron Ore’s (RTIO) Contractor Management strategy across Robe Valley Mine Operations.

  • Coach and mentor our Robe Valley Company Representatives in the 5 steps of Contractor Management

  • Support and assist department Leaders on compliance to CM 5-step process

  • Monitor and coach Contract Partners compliance to our 5-step CM process and RTIO HSE Standards and Procedures (include attending Shift Starts, LiF, CRM activities)

  • Work with Robe Valley CM Specialist to identify areas of improvement in Contractor Management and assist with Robe Valley’s journey to achieve Best Operator
