About the role:
The Coordinator Training & Compliance independently develops, coordinates, delivers, assesses and reports on training requirements for clients, employees, partners and subcontractors in the Employment Portfolio. The coordinator will also monitor AMES’ ability to comply with the requirements of the various Deeds, associated Guidelines and AMES internal practices. This position works closely with relevant Service Delivery Managers and support employees within the Portfolio.
To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years’ Employment Services related experience including substantial experience developing and delivering Employment services training
- Demonstrated understanding of adult training principles, and supporting contract compliance in a business environment
- Detailed (comprehensive / expert) knowledge and application of Employment Services Deeds and associated guidelines
- Demonstrated knowledge of staff training identification, reporting, audit practices, standards and methodology used;
- Outstanding verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver effective training, to be persuasive and gain agreement from others
- Demonstrated ability to identify training needs, develop learning initiatives to meet these needs, support business goals and add value to the division by way of continuous quality practice improvements
- Excellent digital and computer skills including the ability to create effective online training resources
- Excellent written communication skills including demonstrated ability to analyse, research, interpret and produce written reports and present findings and recommendations for the purposes of management decision-making
- Demonstrated organisational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to make recommendations and take accountability for these actions; assist with the process of making decisions without undue delay and commits to appropriate action
- Ability to foster teamwork, collaboration and respect for others
- Ability to develop effective internal and external relationships to facilitate positive outcomes whilst focussing on continuous improvement
- Understands and acts on the benefits of synergies and cross-divisional co-operation; looks to share critical information and learning for the benefit of the organisation
- Proven ability to provide innovative solutions and continuous improvement ideas
- Demonstrated ability to act in a professional manner at all times, and lead and role model positive values of integrity, reliability, teamwork and professionalism and demonstrated commitment to quality
- A current valid Driver’s Licence will be essential for this role.
- Travel between Sites and some interstate travel will be required for this role
- It is a mandatory requirement for the position holder to have and maintain a current Working With Children Check (for employment purposes)
