Our largest Village in Coppabella is home to more than 3000 guests. We are currently seeking to add to our Leadership team and are open to candidates at either Village Manager or Assistant Village Manager level. Could this be the opportunity you have been looking for to take on leadership of a large remote accommodation village.

This role is pivotal in inspiring and developing department teams to deliver safe, consistent, and world-class hospitality services. You will be responsible for ensuring customer and employee satisfaction while achieving EBITDA targets. As an ambassador for the Civeo brand, you will also play a key role in engaging with local communities and contributing to their prosperity.

What will you be Doing?

People Management:

  • Lead, motivate, and empower staff
  • Develop efficient roles, rosters, and staffing structures
  • Collaborate on recruitment and retention strategies
  • Set and measure objectives and KPIs
  • Implement training programs
  • Manage disciplinary matters fairly
  • Foster a values-based culture and ensure excellent communication
  • Promote safety and provide high-standard accommodation for staff

Customer Service:

  • Deliver excellent services adhering to quality standards
  • Implement client agreements
  • Seek improvements in products and services
  • Continuously improve customer satisfaction and maintain safety

Process Management:

  • Implement health, safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Maintain relevant accreditations
  • Improve processes using business efficiency tools
  • Ensure efficient IT system use
  • Foster innovation and creativity
  • Maintain and protect Village assets
  • Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage budgets
  • Achieve EBITDA targets
  • Provide financial reports and review profit and loss accounts
  • Adhere to financial policies and procedures

About You

  • Demonstrated relevant work experience in a Managerial capacity within large hospitality / facilities management
  • Familiarity with ISO, HACCP, and other quality standards
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a business or hospitality discipline (desirable)
  • Strong financial acumen including experience managing significant P & L
  • RMLV (Responsible Management of Licenced Venue)
  • Advanced First Aid certificate (qualification will be offered to successful applicants who do not hold this)
  • Remote work experience (highly regarded)
  • Current Driver’s Licence (highly regarded)
  • Willingness to undertake medical, background checks and psychometric assessment
