About the role
This position is the initial point of contact for anyone contacting or attending the Red Cross Office. The overall objective is to provide a welcoming and safe connection point and reception environment for: clients accessing services or information; volunteers and members; key partners; and the wider community seeking to connect and access services. As the first point of contact for the organisation, this role provides effective and efficient quality customer focused service, facilitates access to information and support services. The role will also provide operational and administrative support that enables Red Cross facilities and fleet to support and deliver services to stakeholders and customers in a safe, clean, effective and professionally presented environment.
You will bring
- Thorough knowledge of solution focused customer service practices.
- The ability to identify and implement effective and efficient reception and administration systems within a complex service delivery setting.
- Sound verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver sensitive and responsive customer services to all people irrespective of ethnicity, culture, gender, sexual orientation, disability.
- Willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver outputs within specified time frames
- Ability to exercise judgement and initiative within defined policies and practices, identifying where escalation is required.
