The Dam Safety Assurance Lead is responsible for leading development, implementation and continuous improvement of dam safety reporting and assurance processes to support and promote compliance with best practice dam safety management. This will include developing and implementing assurance processes for mandatory industry reporting against Victoria's established dam safety management measures.
A formal qualification in law, business management, economics or a related discipline will be an advantage, along with demonstrated experience in Victoria's dam safety regulatory and reporting framework. You will be joining a supportive and diverse team with opportunities to establish and build beneficial partnerships with DEECA's internal and external stakeholders with responsibilities for dam safety management in Victoria.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
- A formal qualification in law, business management, economics or a related discipline is desirable.
- A demonstrated understanding of dam safety in an Australian context and knowledge and experience in Victoria's dam safety regulatory and reporting framework.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
