An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customer Service based role in our very busy office & sales desk. Operating for over 30 years, we are a family owned & operated steel manufacturing business in Kelmscott
We carry a wide range of fencing materials in our onsite drive thru warehouse along with a large custom manufacturing workshop. With your efficient, helpful and friendly personality, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and an integral part of our sales and administration team.
About the Role:
This position is predominantly a delivery driving role but we also need a candidate who can assist the warehouse store personnel to ensure that a high level of service is provided to our customers, whilst complying with health and safety regulations, in our busy family owned fencing business in Kelmscott.
This is a full time position. The hours are 6am to 2:30pm weekdays and we're looking for someone who's flexible & willing to work overtime as required.
A HR License is essential.

Qualifications & experience
- Previous experience in a similar, delivery driving role
- Minimum of 1-2 year in a warehousing or logistics environment
- High level of knowledge on fencing products or steel highly desirable.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Driving a 12 tonne truck with a hiab crane to load and unload fencing materials that are wrapped on pallets or manually offloading components by hand where necessary
- Ensure all goods, products and materials are adequately secured and maintained in good order before and during transport
- Great customer Service skills
- Physically capable of completing manual handling tasks on a continual basis.
- Ability to work both in a team environment and unsupervised at times.
- Bring a positive, "can do" attitude and the willingness to go the extra mile and applying initiative.
- Adhere to all OH&S requirements and abiding by workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Dispatching orders to customers in accordance with customer work orders / invoices
- Counting and checking stock in receiving, including quality inspections.
- Arrive at work in required PPE
