About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and caring Dental Assistant to join our team. The role involves supporting our dentists chairside, preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, sterilization, and providing excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms
- Sterilization and infection control in line with dental guidelines
- Welcome and support patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience
- Manage patient records and appointment notes as required
- Maintain stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
- Provide general administrative and reception support when needed
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant (preferred but not essential – we can provide training)
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting (advantageous but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, professional, and positive attitude
- Ability to work well within a team and in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to infection control and workplace safety
