Dewatering Technician

Reporting to the Dewatering Supervisor, the successful applicants will be required to:

• Assist with the installation, removal and maintenance of dewatering systems and equipment.
• Operating an IT Loader for earthworks and lifting operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of dewatering equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Polywelding and installing HDPE pipelines.
• Operating Heavy Rigid truck for relocating equipment around site.
• Operate Cranes and assist with Dogging & Rigging.
• Show high level of teamwork by liaising with and assisting other departments.
• Operate equipment safely in line with ConsMin policies and procedures as well as advocating safe working practices in your crew.

Requirements to be successful in this role you will have:

• Prior dewatering experience (two years minimum).
• Current active HR Driver License.
• Experience operating IT Loader and Telehandler.
• DG High Risk Ticket is essential CN,CV,CO (desirable).
• Butt Fusion Poly Welding ticket is essential.
• Working at Heights and Confined Space (desirable).
• National Police Clearance (No older than 6 months).
• Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures.
• Excellent organisational, communication skills and high attention to detail.
